Lenormand Arcana Jianghu

 

 

 

When I heard about Lenormand I was of course ready to go buy every beautiful deck out there but my sister told to just get like a plain, little, dollar, playing deck and just look up which card corelated to what. Of course if you know me, I totally already had one and I did a couple of readings but in the end decided that it was just way too much work for me to go back and forth trying to google which cards meant which card in Lenormand and I didn’t want to write on them. It was a struggle but in the end I decided that I liked the concept enough to buy a deck.

So the hunt began. It didn’t take long before I found close to a hundred that I loved but the Jianghu deck was always right there on top. The painted pictures are just so beautiful and peaceful. I fell in love instantly and after some struggle because let’s face it there are just so many amazing decks out there this one ended up winning out as my favorite.

I decided I wanted to share a few of my favorite cards. The ones that just really made me choose this deck.

 

I love how instead using the crossroads and signs they used a peaceful path that you are currently walking splitting in two.

This option implies that sometimes we need to simply rely on our intuition in the moment to chose our next path.

 

I just love how the art work is so peaceful and I feel like it really conveys the meaning of the cards well. Like with Tree, in Lenormand it speaks of wellbeing and health. I can’t help but think about Grandmother Willow and she really embodies that for me.

Letter is also really works for me at least because when I choose to write a letter to someone that I can be completely me around I use this type of setup.

All in all the deck as a whole I feel really speaks clearly and would be easy for even a newbie to start grasping Lenoramand quickly.
